Let's schedule a 4 hour enduro for Feb, 2019
What say you? 3-4 guys per team. 3500 or 70T motors only. Only AAA and no lipo's, That is it for the rules. Lets see what the teams can think up?????
Let me know what you think.

6 hours minimum is needed to qualify as a true enduro race. Just sayin...
The last Mini-Z enduro race that I recall was at The Track in Gaithersburg, MD many moons ago. The EMU-Racing/Reflex Team attended and snuck up to the podium at the end with strategic driving and successful race prep.
8 to 12 hours wouldn't scare me, 6 hours and I am in...

I'm in. I did a 12hr back when I lived in London. 4 hours is a good amount of time.
-6 Hours
-6 teams
-Every driver must drive once
-Must start and finish with the same chassis and body
-30 min. of racing in the dark, either dimly light the track or only mark the
turns with chem lights
-AAA batteries only, any MAH rating
-3500 brushless any gearing
-70t brushed any gearing
-HFAY Chassis and body rules
The math for me says 1900 laps @7.5 average. 5, 30 second battery changes, roughly 30 min. run per battery pack.

Would a visiting team be welcome? I might be able to find some guys to come up and serve as a back marker team.

Lets get the band back for another 4 hour enduro!
Zround can handle 'teams' now! I've never used the feature before but I never used multi-round qualifying before this past weekend either
I second Kris's idea on structure. either that or go back to the roots for our enduro and use spec body decorated by the team.

Can we even do night stage? I believe lights are connected to other things and turning them off may also turn off other things that need to stay on.
I had been meaning to look at LED tape lighting as pricing has come down significantly, to see if lighting the track was feasible, from one side at least.

6 hours is good. Out of town racers are very welcome. I think we want to limit it to 6 cars max. We can add more drivers to the teams if needed. Keep putting your ideas out here and we can work out the details here.

I'm still interested in trying to make this event. I may not be able to field a whole team though. After watching the videos, I think we currently only have a couple of drivers at that level.

I'm sure we have some fillers for any team that needs drivers.

Yeah that's going to put a damper on the night stage. Let's make a blindfold stage then where drivers have to be told which way to go
Night stage is fun but not essential.

4 per team is good. 3 per team is better from my 12 hour experience.
Mike M down South told me one enduro race they had to run drift tires to simulate wet conditions that could come and go from such a long race(24hr).
