9.25-26 PN Racing Rialto Race Result

PN Racing Challenge, Rialto Ca.

Open Class D Main
1 42/8.01.97 Daniel Kuo
2 35/8.03.20 Dennis Hrehowski
3 27/7.56.65 David Hardman
With 1 bump up Daniel put his head down and reel out respectable laps and put himself into the bump up position.

Open Class C Main
1 43/8.03.05 Daniel Kuo
2 42/8.00.55 Noel Igauye
3 39/8.04.24 Tai Sze
4 39/8.11.44 Craig Turner
5 38/8.01.07 Chris Chow
6 35/8.09.95 Duane Fuller
It was Noel Igauye and Danny battle for the bump up spot from the beginning. Meanwhile Tai Sze Craig Turner Chris Chow and Duane Fuller were duking it out.
Duane’s car was flying down the back straight but the handling left something to be desired. At the end Danny nosed out Noel by less than 2 second to take first spot.

Open Class B Main
1 44/8.08.80 Pat Manalo
2 43/8.07.52 Willson Cheng
3 42/8.03.33 Bennett Lo
4 42/8.10.34 Aaron Nelson
5 41/8.05.01 Willy Wong
6 40/8.10.35 Cody Turner
7 10/8.00.00 Daniel Kuo
Cody Turner the yourngest driver at the meet was showing every one the way around the track at the beginning. Pat Manalo decided to put on his stone face, stop blinking his eyes and drive only to put his car in the lead at around the mid point of the race. Whatever happen to Mr. Bump Up ? Well Danny think he can run 2 races by charging battery only once!!!!! Aaron from Utah put up a good fight with Bennett Lo and Willy Wong.

Open Class A Main
1 48/8.00.88 Rudy Rodriguez, TQ and untouchable !!!
2 45/8.08.19 Brian Daugherty
3 45/8.09.16 Chad Nelson
4 44/8.00.38 Brett Reichert
5 44/8.08.85 Shannon Watts
6 43/8.03.58 Pat Manalo
With Rudy(Mr. Untouchable) jetted off into the sunset stringing out mid to hight 9 seconds and mix with low 10’s , that left rest of the field disputing whether who will reel him back in. Shannon Watts was running mid to low 10 seconds per lap looking pretty until the rest of the field ran him down. Brian Daugherty and Chad Nelson were so close together with Brett Reichert waiting for an opportunity to strike. While all of these were going on Rudy just proceeded to lap the entire field.

Mini Z F1 B Main
1 41/8.11.10 Noel Igauye
2 40/8.03.21 Duane Fuller
3 36/8.04.89 Derek Butterfield
4 14/8.16.33 David Hardman
These guys were having fun running smooth and putting down very good lap time in the high 10’s and 11.

Mini Z F1 A Main
1 46/8.02.37 Rudy Rodriguez, TQ and untouchable again
2 45/8.09.64 Willy Wong
3 45/8.10.22 Aaron Nelson
4 44/8.03.92 Shannon Watts
5 42/8.00.58 Pat Manalo
6 39/8.02.78 Bennett Lo
With Rudy starting from the front it was hard for any one to catch up to him. Shannon Watts was running strong in the second for over 4 minutes when Willy Wong decided to add more speed going into turn and took over second spot with Aaron Nelson in tow. Shannon did not give up and try to regain his position but Aaron and Willy were running very strong. At one point Aaron was running second with Willy in close pursuit Aaron decided to stuff his f1 into the barrier, Willy hit him, freed Aaron car from the barrier just before Shannon had a chance to get by.

Pro Class A Main
1 47/8.07.61 Leo Zhao
2 45/8.00.09 Chris Chow
3 44/8.02.82 Chad Nelson
4 42/8.09.18 Brian Daugherty
5 40/8.00.72 Tai Sze
6 38/8.00.71 Wilson Cheng
Fast car, fast motor are hard to control, some of the compettitor decided to dial down the power of their car to make it easier to drive. Brian Daugherty over did his and paid the price. Brian led the first part of the race while others were trying to cope with speed and handling of their cars. As the group adjusted to the power of their cars they started to close in on Brian and eventually did him in.

Unfortunately I lost the paper for Pro Class B Main, sorry guys my bad (Sam Netzone owner).

Very nice. Cool to see you and Shannon made it down to race with those guys!

Looks like Rudy was on fire again. Glad to see he did not follow through on his word of getting out of the Z scene as he told me after finals last year.

Bet that was a blast of an event. Cool videos too!

I had a scheduling issue so I had to miss this race Next time I'll have to show up and see if I can give Rudy a run for his money. I'm not holding my breath though, he's pretty damn fast

The video was courtesy of Mr. Daniel Kuo. We used approximately 200 tiles of the RCP track(courtesy of John from RCP himself) Thank you.
