I designed two new tracks for Losi to market and distribute along with their new 1/24th scale RC trucks and Ralley cars. You can view pictures and details on the tracks at Losi's site through the links below. Be sure to check out the additional gallery photos for some cool action photo's.
The tracks will be branded with the Losi logo and will be marketed and distributed exclusively through Losi and Horizon Hobby worldwide.
Two kits will be available for the first release. The first kit is a complete track with 3 different styles of jumps. Stagger the jumps or install them back to back for some fun options. Combine tracks to make much larger and more challenging layouts. All the Losi tracks will connect up to existing RCP 50cm tracks. There are two surfaces available. One surfaces offers great grip and the other allows for a more loose feel suitable for drifting or for those that like a more loose racing experience similar to real car racing.
Remove the jump supports, flatten out the jump tiles and you can drift the new Losi Ralley cars or your favorite AWD mini-z around the track.
The second kit is rail and jumps only. You can pick your own surface to layout the track. Dirt, carpet, wood floor, what ever you want.

It would be cool if 2 separate RCP tracks, one on-road and one off-road could be set up intertwined in the same space so track owners could cater to both on & off road cars at the same time in the least amount of space possible. The straight away for one of the tracks can be 2nd story bridge style against the wall at one length of track to save even more space.
Nice to see a purpose built off-road rcp....are there plans for more styles of obstacles like small waves, table tops, moguls, banks, up-walls, different size jumps etc??

Yes, you will see some additional components down the road. Not shown on Losi's site is the table top section, which will be included with this current kit. We didn't have it ready for the initial pics.
You don't need to set up two tracks. You can interconnect the tiles of the offroad track with the current RCP Tracks. We incorporated a tab in the jump tiles, so the jump supports can be removed and the jump piece will lay flat, so you can use the track for on road racing or drifting with the new Losi 4wd ralley car. The different surfaces will add some cool effects to the driving as the car will react differently when going from the black RCP surface to the brown Losi surface. They are different surfaces.
