Yeah we are currently racing in my basement on 2 L's however we wanted to expand our circle and meet some new people in the area that enjoy racing mini z as well. Hoping to catch an event or weekly race in our area.

I'd love to race again but there has been no official activity since early 2016. If you have a big enough basement maybe we can squeeze some people in for fun haha.

Our DC club started in my basement We ran there for years till accumulation of junk forced us to move to an outside location. We also needed a location that was a bit more central to the user base as I was on the suburban fringe to say the least 2 Wide L's is all that's needed to join HFAY
Good luck to you guys, hang in there and persevere

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression the Dojo had a reoccurring race season.

Hey Rensuchan,
PM me your contact info and I will be in touch. We try to run at least twice a week so maybe we can coordinate a day that you could race with us.

Getting started again?
I got a quick email from the grandmaster of the dojo!
He said he's been tied up and overwhelmed with things recently so he hasn't gotten a chance to write a lengthy reply here but he will see what he can do about possibly trying to get racing started again.
In the meantime I'm definitely up for shaking off some rust with basement racing but hopefully we'll be able to get a larger scale event going sometime in the near future.

Hi Brian,
Thank you sounds interesting. Where can I get details? If I have any questions should I direct them to you?

current info can be found in the manual poster on the current points series page here. http://www.howfastareyou.com/events/index/278 on the page there is a link for the Racer Manual.
basically it's a 5 month point series with 2 races a month (can be run the same night) one is clockwise and one is counter clockwise.
we have a Racer Class (70Turn) and an F1 Class (70T) all the tracks are based on 2 wide "L" RCP tracks.
times are submitted and pooled like it was one big race between clubs. points are awarded for where you finish.
It's a fun series and we have 5 clubs scheduled to compete this season.
Salt Lake Mini-Z (Utah)
Washington Area GTG (Washington DC)
PDX Mini-Z (Oregon)
Burncity Mini-Z (Australia)
Western Zydney Racers (Australia)
if you have any questions you can direct them to me, or post them in the "How Fast Are You" forum here on MZR.
