surprised you guys aren't running in PA on the smooth side i thought for sure this would mean the return of the PA group to HFAY.
FYI, i'll need to run a tight schedule as i have an anniversary dinner date to get to after racing if at all possible, please be ready to start qualifying between 12:30 and 1pm. if you can't make it by 1pm, please let me know and i can add you in the system just in case. much easier to do this than add in after events start.

You all really did well in the CCW direction last month. Most likely another month before I am back. Have fun everyone!

yeah, another saturday with little or no rain forecasted, you've had a good run of nice weekends for the water sports this summer!
Phoenix could end up in the #3 spot for the HFAY club ranking if he can maintain his pace through the rest of the season look at our boy Seth jumping back in after some time off and taking 8th and 2nd place for event 1 dwight started the season on top as well. Arthur looks to be staging a battle with me for top of the middle of the pack. Bill is of course holding steady in that rare air that is typical for Bill and mike. baring car troubles, i don't see that changing. Henry is positioned well to move up as well with consistent improvement and finishes. John had a bad event 1 with some inconsistent handling, i'm sure he'll bounce back and move up to the middle of the pack again.

apologies for not recapping these events. turnout was down a bit as expected for August, only Arthur and little Arthur from the Remnant group and have to say, i really do miss the talent and energy you guys bring mike, melvin, gary, dwight, saint... all bring something irreplaceable to the races. Seth is making his return as time allows, missing Ross recently, haven't heard from a couple others in while.
Racing was challenging and competitive as usual. John even wowed us with a nearly flawless run we got a later than usual start but with less than 8 drivers, it ran smoothly and quickly and wrapped up all races by 5:30, right on time
competition to see who races with Bill in the A mains is getting very interesting we've had Al joining us recently joining A main with increase pressure in B main to see who bumps up. B main is becoming the contested main to get into for the shot at climbing the ladder to A. C and below mains continue to see improvement and this is great to see! as these lower mains get better, they will apply even more pressure to the middle and push those to improve as well.
The tip to the club soldering station was replaced at some point with a tip that was not really useful so this is being corrected.
The wheel lock down for the club tire truer was found to be stripped by over-tightening so this also is being corrected.
looking forward to posting of the results and video as soon as HFAY results go live!
