hehe, this was actually posted awhile back. but that's okay!
i like how the family in the pictures are sitting on the far end of the track but they can't possibly see their own cars -- which are over a hill and around a corner haha.
60,000 are you sure it is not 6,000 c'mon you can buy a real car a damn good one too! for that much and most hobby stores i can bet can't afford that .
actually around $200... but still not worth it... my pvc setup suits me just fine in my garage, and WAY cheaper!!! check out the minis and micros magazine for this tip...
Their website talks a little about pricing, it says:
"An affordable Couch Racing® System is nearing completion.
Release Date: April 3, 2002
Consumer Starter Set prices expected to be under $150 (Cdn. Funds).
The Consumer System will have many of the unique characteristics of the Commercial System set but will be affordable in price."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
As of this moment, $150 Canadian is worth $97.72 US.
At that price you could add a few optional pieces and still not spend too much.
This system is totally sick. There is no way that any PVC set up can be compared to self leveling tracks with jumps and hazzards. In any event, we won't have long to wait to get accurate pricing, April is just around the corner.
