LOSI Micro SCT Thread

I just bought one from LHS. The truck runs decent on RCP but is not nimble on tight turns. On Concrete it runs very well and handle road irregularities very well. On painted basement floor I can drift with stock tires. I will see how it handles with hop-ups. Has anybody else bought one?

I will get one when they release the 2.4 version. I have a Spektrum module.
No AM for me....
I converted a Micro T to an mr-02 board and it works but when you use a Lipo it gets too much voltage and shuts down. You can FET the board. Instead of sinking too much $$$ Ill wait for the Losi 2.4.......
Sai get Atomic working on some Hop Ups.....

Can you take a pic of the wiring? I have a 2.4 board and I want to do this but I dont know which servo/pot wires go where. I could find out but if you already know that would be a lot easier.

I have a couple of them. One is bone stock (for my son) and the other one I got from Sagisi. He put a MR03 board and I'm using the Losi Lipo in it. Its alot faster than my stock one.
Here's a short clip of last Friday's race.

wow, need to keep the camera more stable. i had to stop watching as it's headache inducing with all the jarring around.

they look like they can take a good beating with all the flipping, etc.

lets please get a thread in the science area for a 2.4 sct modification tutorial.

Got one about two weeks ago and have been running it on an rcp track. It runs very well bone stock. Lipo was too fast but probably awesome for bashing. I'm running the am board for now with no complaints. Will wait for a spektrum conversion but I like the msct so far. Here's hoping PN and atomic make hop-ups!

I picked up an SCT and plan to do the 2.4 conversion. The Hobbytown in Mooresville, NC will be setting up a class for them this coming Saturday 9/11 in addition to the regular MiniZ classes. Should be fun, join us if you are in the area. See the Hobbytown Mooresville thread for more info.

I think only three guys were using ASF2.4 and the rest were on AM. The Losi AM is better than Kyosho's. No one complained about any glitching.
I'll tape this up coming race and you'll see some fast SCT's this round.(I'll put it on a stationary pod Arch ) Eric at Fast Pace seems to have figured out a good set up. Yesterday he was flying around the track and was hooked up.

I'm not sure how hard it is to ASF the truck because I had Sagisi do mine. Here's a couple of pictures of his work. He also opened up the cover so I could install a transponder for racing.

i see they are using the clear lexan tie rods.are they tough enough? i had the micro-t and they had them and they broke easy. i'm sure they are a bit bigger than the micro ones.
