Hi guys, I've had my Mini-Z for one week now, and it kicks major A$$!!
But the first thing I noticed was that the chassis could REALLY use rear suspension! I love everything about the mini-z, except the fact that I think a rear suspension / damper should come as stock from the factory.
My motor flops around, and the H-plate looks kinda flimsy, so I went down to the local hobby shop and bought a main damper set. Cost me AUD $18 (that's a good price).
The thing is, the damper set comes completely separated, sealed in a little plastic baggy with a piece of cardboard stapled on top, that says DAMPER SET. o.O
I have NO CLUE as how to install this damper! I can guess, and looking at pics I can get more of an Idea, but I really don't know how to install it. :c
Can anyone give me a brief idea of how to install it?? I assume the long black rod thing goes thru the brass ball thingy and the spring goes in the middle, and the two plastic things on the end???
o.O Sorry, but I'm a newbie... the damper looks pretty confusing when it's all separate pieces..
but hey, how come ur damper came with 2 spacers? Mine only came with one. I'm talking about the screw that goes inside the motor mount. and you put a brass spacer with that screw.. on ur photo you have two, but in my pack there was only one o.O
Now my stupid damper is sitting on an angle and falls out all the time... grrrrr
