3D printing

Hi all.
I've seen may interesting personal project recently.
Minizlove(dot com) has some pretty cool design but I keep on seeing smaller but still super cool little prints coming from many clever hobbists.
I have several ideas I would like to experiment with and the only thing stopping me is my very very limited spare time.
I'm highly proficient with several 3D sofware, product design and mechanics, but really the time is my problem.
The thing really bothering me is how long it would take me to take all measurements of a standard MR03 chassis.
I wonder if any of you is willing to share some assets, as I'd love to have some cad data (or any 3d format) of a mini-z so I can just focus on designing the new parts.
I know that measuring everything up is a massive effort and whoever has done it would probably be quite reluctant to giving it away, but it's worth asking.
I could even help with a donation if the data is good, as I respect the hard work that went into it...
Or even better if there was some freely available official or 'leaked' CAD from Kyosho, but I guess that is highly unlikely.
Feel free to PM me if you have anything to share or discuss.
Thanks!

I wouldn't mind having the mr-03 model either . I know CAD and Rhino a little. The only thing I've modeled so far has been wheels.

I guess the next best option, if no one wants to share existing data, would be to put together an open source project so we all contribute and share.
I personally have zero interest in making parts for profit.
Let's see if there's enough interest.

You're not going to find anyone who will be willing to share such a thing.

You are probably right but worth asking.

I have spent a lot of time working on a small project for the f1 chassis last year... Well half of the chassis anyway, was going top do a partial conversion.

Measuring the car, and double, triple, quadruple checking everything is very time consuming and tedious.

I think the racer chassis is actually considerably easier than the f1. If anyone wants to share data, I would love to have access to it... But realistically, it's not going to happen.

I'm rebuilding my pc right now, it's in parts waiting for some fittings, so i don't even have access to my f1 data...

Well I have my old MR01 model I did, back before the MR02 came out.

I could do the MR03, but I don't have an MR03

I do have an RP machine though... or at least I will if it ever gets delivered. It is a few weeks overdue. Form 2.

If you are interested, I could probably send you a chassis...
