Has anyone tried using the gyro for the MR-03 Evo? It is Kyosho part# MZW-405. I bought one to try and it actually makes driving worse. I have my Evo paired with the KT432pt transmitter and there is a menu that allows for gyro gain adjustment, but that seems to do nothing. I was hoping the gyro would help with twitchy steering from floor irregularities, but it renders the car nearly undriveable with how it hinders acceleration and steering. Perhaps I am not setting it up correctly? I plugged the gyro in and attached it to the a lot in the front of the chassis with the tiny screw. Then powered up the transmitter and then the car. Right away, I could see the gyro working to counter steer when I wiggled the car. Seems to be too active, in my opinion.

I messed with a gyro briefly on a Sports2 model. Changing the gain did help, but I never liked the result. It seemed to make the car impossible to put wear I wanted it to go. Maybe for 4wd drifting? Anyway, it is illegal for racing, which is what most people in this forum are doing in one way or another, so that is probably why you didn't hear much from anyone about using a gyro with the evo.
