Question ZRound v1.12 Build 28 - Championship question?

I got a wish if it don't exist or I need help if it exist....

We are having two different types of race days and with several different classes.
Race days is ether 1 day with some classes or 2-3 days of racing.
The classes is often GT Mod and Stock, then maybe F1 and / or LeMans.

So one scenario is:
Sunday raceday, Just GT Mod and Stock.

Another scenario could be:
friday to sunday race, with GT Mod, Stock and F1.

Now, to my question.....

Is there a way to setup a complete raceday or raceday in the championship manager and then add a schedule for what time the races should start?

.....

This is to make things easier to manage at racedays.
I can then make all the setup in advance, set a schedule and then "forget" about it. Just add some racers.
Maybe a "warning" that the track is closed 2 min before warmup laps. Prox 2 min warmup, then race.
Then the program could start the training mode until the next warmup laps is due to start.
The RCM software has some features that can handle the scheduling, that's why I ask.

At the feature matrix, you can see much of what others have implemented. Not sure if all of that is necessary at all....

Seriously, I'm not thinking about "replacing" RCM, but I think scheduling would be a nice feature for PNWC or local racing when you have a schedule to meet.
Setting up qualifying and finals for saturday and sunday, with prequal and qual.
With free training in between. Without having to interact with the PC would be awesome I think.

I'm not sure how other people use this, but most of us wants to race and not fiddle with the computer.

And since you already got the automatic upload of race results, it would be just awesome.

Just like me ... I love to race instead of having my hands on the computer :-) ha ha ha.

Philip asked me to include the scheduling feature long time ago and I started to work on it a lot of times but I've not found yet the inspiration/aim to complete the task.

Luckily, there are a lot of other features and improvementes suggested by him and I must recognize his BIG contribution to the project.

I've tested the "automatic" race day mode on my club but people doesn't like the computer controls the race day. I mean I arrive to the club on Sunday morning, arrange the heats, click on "start race" and every round on every heat runs without a single keyboard input (practice -> race -> pause -> practice -> race ...) . I've used for three races and then it was not used anymore as people stressed a lot. When the scheduling feature be available, the full automatized race will be an option as well.

Regards

It is implemented. In PN Racing format it stops when a round is complete as a resort is needed after every round.

When you start the first race the practice starts automatically, 10 seconds before the time limit a countdown is played and then the heat starts in staggered mode (racers will begin thir time on the next pass). Then, a programable delay time is waited before staring the next practice and so on.

Mains are not run automatically.

The feature has been "ommited" on public releases as it has not had success on my club. People hates it in fact. Of course, it is because they have a silly man like me managing and worried about the computer and the race :-(.

I will recover the work to be available for anyone in future releases.

Regards.

Just a quick word. We are currently using RCM on race days because we wanted to have schedules and automated event control etc.

We have to say that first people were like "ooo this is ****, I cannot make it to heats, wait for me" and bla bla bla (I think you know what I mean ), but once everybody got used to this, everybody has really started to like this. Now it is the same for everybody, if you aren't on time well that is your own fault. And this teaches everybody how it is in big races, as there nobody waits for you if you don't make the grid on time.

For two years we have now been running our races with RCM and love it. Also all the bigger classes run RCM because of the automated event control.

I have to say you really should implement this feature especially considering you already have coded it! I am sure, that many would like this really lot. And this was the sole reason why we first sought to buy RCM licence, just to get this feature...

Again big thanks for all your efforts as we use ZRound also and like it a lot too
