TheSteve, thanks for the tip on the servo, i'll glue pot and motor
Color01, these LiPo are only 7mm height, that are 3.5mm less than AAA NiMh . It looks super flat when you have it in the hand.
Herman, that's a simple and effective concept. I'll try it!
Now i'm working on a different configuration on the same chassis: brushed motor, ASF esc, LiPo (actually i'm looking for a tiny lipo saver) and grease dumper tube on the rear suspension.
i actually have a kawada with a similar servo saver set up (bought a kit from donut himself)… it is quite sufficient, and you can adjust the spring tension
Hi, it's been a log time since last time i posted updates.
I've updated a little bit all the chassis to make it more functional. I've order new CNC carbon fiber parts for the front end, the rear suspension and the esc support and batteries. I've designed a completely new servo saver for Futaba S3154 and a new MR03 t-plate support built by Shapeways ( https://www.shapeways.com/product/MR...ionId=38491374 ).
Now it's much more functional and the design is cleaner and nicer. I don't know how competitive it is now as our club is not doing very well and there is a big risk of closure .
Important for me it's that now is almost finished, a custom built chassis is never finished.
