fs: aoshima toyota hilux lift up model kits
for those that have been following the monster tire thread...this will interest you!
i came across these model kits while at pearl arts and crafts picking up other supplies...
these are 1:24/25 model kits that will fit the overland as seen on minizbar (the blue pickup). they also come with the tsl super swamper tires which fit on wide overland wheels! these kits are useful for the tire set and or a nice custom pick up truck body.
these kits are relatively hard to find as they are discontinued...explained in the monster tire guide thread. i really need to get my money back from these (the 2 that i'm selling) before my wife finds out i bought 3 . i'm selling them at cost (what i paid for them), no profit at $25 + shipping which i would estimate priority sh. at $5. you might find them for a few bucks less...if your lucky and you'll have to pay for the shipping regardless.
interested buyers email me for more information/payment details.
thanks,
arch2b

Email me as well, I can't afford a kit but I might be interested in a body if you decide not to use it.

ok, i've had 1 ask for a kit...that leaves 2 bodies if a part ou the other kit. let me see, if no one else is interested in the 2nd kit....
the satco tires were about $7, i'll round it up to $10 and take that off the cost for the whole kit.... so $15 + shipping for the kit minus the tires. that's pretty good as far as model prices are concerned. i could never find a tamiya model for that cheap.

I still want a full kit. But if some only want the body I will pay for some of the kit and just take the tires. But since I already have a kit on hold, it would only be fair to see if anyone eles wants them first.

Hmm, still too rich for my blood. Let Nosser get it if he wants... maybe I can find a kit somewhere when I have a little more money to spend.

I was just wondering...there is a branch of Pearl here in LA a couple of block from my house.. it's a HUGE store but it's strictly art supplies...no models

the pearl's here don't have or normally carry models either...they were on a rack of discontinued items next to the testor paints and glue section. worth a check....

What is the part number on the truck? I think I may have found a place that has these in stock but they don't have any pictures of the trucks on the site.

Hmm, weird. The site does not seem to list that one.
There is a TOYOTA HILUX PICK UP DOUBLE CAB but I don't think it is the Lift Up series one, then they have the TOYOTA HILUX SURF LIFT UP and lastly the HLEX 4WD PICK UP. The search continues I guess. I really wish I had the money for a full kit.
