Steering problem .. need advice!

Upgraded the Kyosho K19 radio that came with my 2016 AWD MiniZ MA0020 Sports, to a brand new Kyosho KT-432PT radio. What a present!!!

All was good with the factory radio regarding Steering trim. The dial was right in the middle and there was no need for adjustments.

Now after binding .. and rebinding, and reseting everything to pair the new radio I´m having an issue with the steering.

To keep it centered, need to move the SUB TRIM all the way to the end, and after, need a little more of normal trim to adjust the car runnig straight forward and have the steering centered.

Did some search in the forum, and checked other users with same problem, solution was to adjust with small screw driver the steering pot in the chip board.
But maybe I am a noob, maybe this new models do not have it .. I dissambled the board and cannot find anything to adjust, a part from the gyro knob!

Can somebody give me a tip how to fix this?

Welcome aboard.

If you search KT-19 FAQ you will find your answer. It is covered in the opening post. I would first return all transmitter settings to "0" then turn transmitter off. Turn chassis on and manually center the wheels. Then press and hold pairing button and observe the power light for two quick flashes and then goes out. Turn chassis off, turn transmitter on and then the chassis and you should be good to go.

Thanks a lot guys .. I was going to try your solution today.

Guess what, No batteries charged, so I slided the Lipo 11V from my Futaba remote into my brand new Kyosho KT-432PT, that was having this steering problems, to test and check if your solution would help.

Smoke comig out of the transmitter, so I guess I just burned a brand new 300USD toy to trash! Stupid me THe screen went white, still controls car, but cannot acess any menu!

As soon I get the transmiter fixed/new transmiter, I will post results for the steering trim solution you guys gave me.

Thanks a lot, but now I will have to wait to fix TX in order to test it!

New radio screen burned ... Still having the steering issue, no screen means no chance of going in the menu for rebinding!

In the meanwhile, no reason to stop having fun because of that!

Did a little drifting videos for all you mini-z fans
