irf 7389 - Phase 3!

OK as I posted a few times i sold all my 2nd phase of fets... and I been looking for more.

Ok I managed to scrounge up more 7389 mosfets... but does any one actualy want some? Did I sell to everyone that will buy them yet? Are they worth a little bit more, not same price... ? I know I have at least 5 ppl that will buy some, but I need more ppl to show interest.... or ill be stuck ebaying them like i been doing .

Just want a bit of confidence that buying more is a wise idea .

if every one stacks them the way some ppl are they will sell fast i mean 14x2 and above!?!? is silly... but if u want to go that fast I guess tis needed hahaha...

Oh well ill probly order them any way....

Well this is DEFINATLY the last round, unless I find some other store to get them from, the place i been getting these, is getting more, but they are now charing over 3$ for each one now -- since they have to restock them, guess they were sick of me buying them all cheap...

If the few ppl that want the large quantity that was asked for... actualy buy them, and I save my self 60, I think I have less then 200 un-reserved already...

Unless I find anothre place that only has a few left and is willing to let me buy under the min quantity again... this is the last batch. and it will then become cheaper to buy from Richards Electronics etc... so far the cheapest place, 2nd to me.

I ask that any one installing these KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING, no matter how much I warn ppl they still fry things but putting 8 cells in a mini-z is kind of obvious your gona fry things.. oh well... and there is not much need to put 50 fets in one car.. 12 to make a 6x2 is just fine, should handle any motor intended for the Mini-Z...

They are currently:
>1 @ $1.35ea
>50 @ $1.30ea
>100 @ $1.25ea (lowest I can go)
Be glad im not selling them at the 3$ some sites are....

Fets are the chips for the Do It YourSelf Internal Turbo, so long as you can solder SMALL things... .

Basicly if you know how to solder, you can do it, and if you know how to solder there realy isnt much else to know... other then solder them together (in the right direction) and go .

Alright, I can solder.
If I want to surprise my fellow basement racers with a DIYT, how many FETs do I need, and what sort?
It would be an F1 DIYT!

no clue on the F1's... no idea what will fit with out cutting holes... no idea how it realy effects the break some say it dont, some say it does.... if it was just a racer id say just go 2x6... its fine.

Foreign Language

You might as well be speaking Japanese, man!
'Cuz I have no clue what you're saying!

Well, I know what solder is.

Looks like I gotta do a little research...

I have my F1 ESC on its way home from MrE with 9x2 FETs.....I guess my PCB will be the ultimate test for the brakes..I will maybe post results in the thread "MrEs Handywork"...hopefully it will perform as normal (brakes..not the performance!! Performance should be extreme!!)

http://miniz.nexcess.net/forums/show...&threadid=5272

I am hoping to have it Friday..otherwise it should be back around Monday(it would want to be considering what was spent on shipping!! )

Cool here are some samples of fet stacking to the extreme!

shown in pic is a stack of 2 by 10 fets that will fit a racer with little modification on chassis!

Im sure you done most of this, but if you need space under there, with out flipping it over, yank that stupid switch out... and relocate it INSIDE the servo.. the empty spaces on either side of the servo motor.. could like puta hole in the servo case and chassis to access it from bottom still -- someting along the line of what I am pondering doing..... cuz taking the body off to get to the switch SUCKS hehe.. i hate it.

10x2 fet upgrade by Myster E, combined with NML SuperSonic Road Course Motor is pretty much untouchable.
