Im not so sure the readings matter. The cells are very fast, you can notice it. Lasting 5-10 min heats/main is no problem.

I have gone through the numbers on my turbo GFX and hands down they are the best cells out on the market

I have tested

Sanyo 1000s
Intillect 750s
powerizers 1000s
tenergy 1000s
orion 1100s
orion 900s
green cells from atomic mods

i charge at 1.5 amps with a .01 cutoff
and discharge at 6 amps with a .9 cutoff.

the test gives me avg voltage(speed of the cell) Actual internal resistance AIR (Punch of the cell) and discharge time (run time of the cell) It does tell other information but these are what i match my cells by.

by far the orion cells have the best in every part of the test.

BTW,

One great thing i noticed about the batteries.

I tested a bunch before i went up to Toronto for the PN race and then tested them after and the batteries stayed the same for numbers. And the numbers were VERY good.

AIR didn't rise, Avg voltage didn't drop and runtime was still awesome.

The funny thing with the cells also. When i was driving my AWD stock car i was geared the highest i could go. I was worried about making a 10 min main with the car. I had never run a 10 min race with that car and gearing with the cells......so i was half throttle the entire race. I made runtime no problem at all and i was bummed i just didn't open it up the entire race. Oh well....next time.

So at half throttle where did you finish?

i don't think its the difference between the us and jap markets...
i think its just the difference period...
as far as i remember... i don't think i've seen rechargables in 1.25v as most are 1.2v...

i want to know the same thing (see post #40 & #70)... and would appreciate any answer...

Thanks for posting your findings Bill.
You own a Turbo GFX? That's one serious piece of equipment. I'd love to own one. Don't know many people who have one so your results from testing AAA NiMh cells is much appreciated. I don't have a lot of charger-experience, I only own a MAHA MH-C9000 at this time. I'd like to get a charger that can measure Actual Internal Resistance (AIR) as this info is crucial to know along with voltage and capacity. Could you tell me what the difference is between Relative Internal Resistance and Actual Internal Resistance please, and which is more important? Is the Turbo GFX the only device that can measure AIR, or is the IR measurements from say a Duratrax ICE AIR or RII ?
Thanks again.
