July 26, 2008 HFAY S6, Race 1
HFAY Season 6 Race 1 is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Hobby Works in Fairfax.
this is our fallback if we do not secure a new location prior to this date.

i am willing to try whatever you guys want inorder to get both racer and f1 hfay racing going. this may mean one direction, one day and other direction another day or going anal on timing and cram it all in on one day... i'll do what it takes but wnat to make it enjoyable for everyone.
btw, congrats to the s5 club champs! you guys did an excellent job. i have the banner if anyone wants to hang it up somewhere.
also, both my hfay cars are 2.4. i'm still in the process of doing my club awd car. i don't think i'll convert my spec race car.
any of the va guys want to test out one of the new spots? let me know as i would have to collect at least 1 wide l from hobby works unless someone else brings all the track.

where seems to be the million dollar question. what makes it more difficult is i'm not in va to help scout and make the decision. i'm afraid you va guys are going to have to pick a place and i can help work out the logistics of track, etc.
i'll be at the o's/nat's game this weekend or i would join you guys.
we have a temporary timing system solution with the help of a forum member so hfay should be fine.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, however you want to look at it (I like to think of it as fortunate)), I will be getting married the day before this in Maine. This will put a slight damper on the first race for me. Man, this not getting together for so long sucks. I want to run!

Tom, me and a few others are getting together at Tallgeese house this weekend. Today it will be around 4, and Sunday until about 7. I sent you a pm if you want directions.

Perigrinari, I'm still trying to talk to Courtney about running this upcoming Tuesday evening at Hobbyworks.. I'm pretty sure that Action B is in town this week, and he said that he wanted to do some running this week as well.. Hopefully we can get some running in this Tuesday..

Unfortunately at this time I don't know if we'll be able to run at my house this weekend as I had originally planned.. I'll try to see if we can possibly get some running in this weekend..
