i'v had some terrible problems trying to change the stock mini z chassis to the clear skeleton one i bought. I can't get it to work. Does anyone have instructions on how to change it? i know its not relaly that important, but i hate the brownish blackish thing it comes in.
To take it out, take out all the screws. Lift up the board and pull out the black thing. Ya It's annoying. Be careful of wires. PUll the wires out from the back of the black thing. To get out the power button, pull apart those 2 tabs and pull it out. Try not to break these tabs or else you won't be able to switch it back if you want. Get the clear chassis and stick the 2 metal contacts that were behind the black thingy inside on the appropriate side (look at the bottom the inside of the chassis and there should be a + and - sign). Put the clear version of the black thing on making sure the side of the with the litle tabs is facing the back. Put the screws in to secure the metal contacts and clear thing. Now put in the power button by pushing those little tabs apart. Be careful not to break or bend them. Put the pcb back on top aligning the holes in the back and make the wires wrap on the left side of the pcb to get inside the car. Screw it back on.
