Now that's a great idea. no more chassis screw stripping for people who use lots of different bodies.

I've often wondered why Kyosho doesn't just use one universal body mount and mold each body to fit rather than having a separate one for each.

Seems like a good idea, but it needs to be economical. I've seen spare plastic Kyosho body mount clips at Kenon for around $3 ea, so this might be a tough sell.

Would it be feasible to change the holes at front to slots to allow fore-aft motion, hence eliminating the need for body-specific adapter plates?

Easy body height adjustment and no chassis hole stripping would be nice plusses though...

But the Kyosho big problem, all the time out of stock, not all body mount in stock, and some body mount never back in stock.

I tried to design something like this a long time ago...

This will not work with ALL bodies, at least not with out altering it some what for some bodies.

It is not just the location of the nose mount hole. There are too many variations in the opening size on the bodies... at least there use to be... maybe all the newer bodies are closer to being a similar size.

I got the 07 350z front clip and mount and the products are awesome. Great finish and the clip fits perfectly. I plan to buy many more of these...
