Glow in the Dark RCP Rails

Thought this was cool. A race using these rails and cars with lights would be cool. Don't know how they did this, but possibly they cut glow in the dark paper out in the shapes of the rails. Or maybe painted the top of the rails. Nevertheless, looks great!

My guess is UV reactive paint... with UV lights. Regardless, it looks great!

That is super cool. Something like that could be used for a programmed endure where the "day" starts in full room light and gets progressively dim to no lights at all.

There is a race in PA that has a long race outdoors using 1/10th size cars. The race goes through out the night with no lights on the track. They put glow sticks inside of the cars to see them at night.

Inside Line Racing in northern California has been doing a glow in the dark race around Halloween for the past several years. Tons of fun. We've been using a combination of glow sticks and fluorescent tape+UV black light on the rails. Cars either have fluorescent tape or LED lights on them.

We also have a Halloween costume contest as part of the race... so folks come in various attire.

That's awesome! Now I want to do that to my home track. Let the research begin
