fet trouble....hard

hey ive decided to install some fets i found (brand new) duno how i came about of them, anyway i have read many guides and such and this is so hard! i bought a tip for my soldering iron (very thin) and its still so hard. are there any tips and tricks to doing this???

then click on the movies section. There should be a movie there on removing FETs and stacking them. It helped me do the FET operation on my car. Hope it helps u....

Yah, I followed the same procedure except i soldered my fets together first and that is where i made my problem i think. I cant really fit the soldering iron tip behind the big black box-like thing on the pcb. Ill have to desolder the fets i think... that is another problem, i superglued them together to help then soldering them.

Oh... actually, I find stacking them one by one is easier than stacking all at once... it's less bulkier to work with and u don't burn off excessive flux....

THANKS!! Ok, wlel I'm gonna get some good fets now. That whole time was on some cheap 3004's that could have been burnt out hehe. I found a site that charges 29.99 for 12 fets (forgot the numbers, there the good ones to get).
