Built a 03 from all my spare parts. Burned one FET on install of a new board. Kyosho was great and sent me a new board on warranty. Put new board in, able to pair the car, have steering but no throttle. Stopped immediately, don't want to try anything till I get some help. Don't want to burn the feet. Help!!!
1) try check the output (positive and negative) of the board if there is power using a voltmeter.
2) try to "run" the motor by powering it with a battery directly (btw is your motor stock?)... how did you burn your FET (did you install it with a hot motor)

Rebinded the car, and it worked.
I burnt the board by grounding out the motor leads. Aftermarkets tabs are a little big and I think they touched.
Don't no a whole lot about this sort of technical stuff.
I can tell you this definately check your brushes as mentioned before. In three years I have never had this happen, but recently burned up two board due to brushes.
On one I got lucky the fetts actually fell off. The other the motor wires melted off board and burned the ever living crap out of the board looks like I cooked a greasy burger where the fetts were.
