Not the best photos, but it's fun to look at the overall aesthetics and placement of things
From my judgment, the newer released supras are sh*t quality in terms of decal placement and gloss finish... good if you wanna just smash it around. If the older bodies were gloss coated, they'd be a real looker. #6 has a nicer profile too, whereas #1 is too boxy.

Not sure the context of this thread but are you comparing the glosscoat to the fine hand polish? Because the #1 2003 was available in glosscoat originally before the hand polish.
#6 2002 was originally released in 2003.
#1 2003 was originally released in 2004.
In general I really miss all the glosscoats...so cheap and so pretty.

I think he means Supra No.6 2002 was not glosscoated yet.
And therefore regrets it.
No.1 2003 was glosscoated (MZG and MZX) but not anymore (MZP).
I guess the smashable ones are the MPZ...?
I had a MZG 2003 for a looong time but it's unbreakable (yet).
Context was more for aesthetic placement of parts and decals between the two existing supra runs.
My personal observation was just about the quality of the #1 that I got (MZX), where decals were cracked or just generally out of place. The #6 had time taken into it, easily visible by decal placement despite no clear coat or polish. If I had to bash one, it'd be the #1 just because of the coating and it's low rarity.
Still, #6 is grail status for me.
Also I think I realized there was just miscommunication.
2002 refers to the #6 Supra that ran in the JGTC (Super GT) 500 series in '02.
2003 refers to the #1 Supra that ran in '03.
Didn't mean production dates of the bodies themselves
