water slide decals

I just picked up some water slide decals and I have no clue how they work. Do you need to buy anything special to apply them? Iíve read something about water slide decal transfer paper.. Is this a must? Anybody with tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

you can get away with printing them using an inkjet printer and put a clear coat on the decal to prevent the ink form the injk from running. After it drys just cut around your decal print. Place it in water for about 15-30 seconds. By that time the decal should separate away from its backing which will allow you to apply it to the car body.

If you want a rigorous way of applying waterslide decal then just google search. However I have been able to get away with doing it the quick away with only the occasional time when the ink runs.

q-tips help during the process to soak up the water and smooth the decals when applying it on to the body.
