The front set (servo saver) was not really binding as much but the shock was a lot..but then again all you need is some time to work on it.. I'd love to buy one if they come out.. I'm sure other locals would too

Does someone know something about the user Z_408? I sent him my MP-V4 past in december 2009 to run on the Tekin National Race and after knowing that my car was not going to be driven I asked to send it back to me.
I received an answer in which he told me that he was going to send it to me and after that i knew nothing more, i send some MPs with no answer...
I trust that Z_408 is a serious user but is not nice this lack of information, moreover if you think that the car that is sent is a unique piece in the world.
So please, if someone of you meet him in person and can ask him to read this it could be very usefull.
Thanks for your help.
Ciao!

Binh's a busy guy, that I know (took me some time to get the MRCG1.1 back too), but if you can get a reply from him you'll usually get action along with it. Have you called Inside Line yet? Sometimes talking in person's better than emails since you force him to deal with something right away.

I've made some updates to the car:
Changed the position of the front knuckles to +2 offset.
Used LM motor mount and a more "standard" DPS.
New top deck with more space for ESC
New h-plate support.
Some photos:
Hope you like it.
Regards!

Did this project ever come to fruition? Sorry guys, I'm new to the forum and just curious about these fantastic ideas.

To be honest, it's quite stopped as a project.
Slightly different from the last pictures, with ASF esc and LiPo powered.
I'll try to make some photos just to show the update.

Hi guys,
I'm proud to announce that the car has raced in a commercial fair, here in Italy, and it has finished 4th in the A final.
Before the race, it was tested for only 2 hours
http://www.minizracing.it/gare/risul...013/index.html
We' ve found very hard to set-up the car because of its lightness (110gr ready to run and we still a lot of chance to reduce); another weak point is the steering transmission, it's so important to have a good servo saver! If you have any ideas...
Driver: Matteo Pisano
Chassis: MyProto MP-V4W
Motor: Brushless Team Orion 9500kv
ESC: Hobbyking 10A
Servo: Bluearrow D05010MG Digitale
Receiver: KoPropo KR-408S
Batteries: LiPo 2S 400mAh

Car looks great! You're using the same servo I am, its great for the price. You may want to open it up and very carefully glue the motor and pot in place, it will help it last longer and center better. A micro servo saver would be great, for now I make sure my body protects the front wheels somewhat(when used with an MRCG chassis)
On the small cars designing in precise steering linkage is the hardest part.

I love this view of the chassis, it's even lower than my MRCG! Lipo makes for so much more fun laying out chassis configurations.
