Crystals - Help!

Alright, I need to know what the crystals are. Do they determin the frequency of the car and Tx? Do the readysets come with all the crystals? Can I buy crystals?

Ready set comes with 1 set, of 1 crystals a TX and RX set... of a given section of the 27mhz band.

They just pull out push in type change... must change both the TX and RX to change the frequency of the Mini-Z.

2 cars/controlers on the same 27.### is a BAD thing... they will get confused. and both cars will hear both transmitter...

I will buy from you if I get the same xtals in my ready sets. Thanks for the deal!

Also, how can I practice my soldering skills so that I will be able to do FET upgrades? I do not know how small they are so I have nothing to compare them to. Are there any PCB's with the same size fets that I can practice taking off and putting on. I really need reactive in soldering so that I don't have to blow 80 bucks on an upgrade that I can learn to do myself.

If you want to run more than 6...

...and you live in the US, just swap your transmit and receive. I am sure most of you know that, but it does work. We all race in the US and can only get channels 1-6, we have raced up to 9 cars at once, with 3 of the racers swapping their transmit and receive crystals...

That might be helpful for some...
