From the pics looks like you can swap it out to an asf board... was wondering if the wires on the asf board to the pot and servo motor are long enough to fit the fwd chassis... or do you change them to longer wires?

Why? I would imagine it’s easier to just swap the wires right over to asf board VE trying to put board, wires, pot and all in. Just swap over as if you were using a clone board.

Was asking if the asf board wires were long enough. I don't actually have a fwd, and from the pics the wires from the fwd look a bit longer due to the orientation of how things are put on the chassis. If the asf wires are long enough, then no need to change anything just a direct replacement.

Otherwise yes, I guess it would be easier to use the fwd pot and servo motor wires and all... just de-solder from fwd board then solder onto asf board... and hope you get the orientation correctly...

Greetings haco! Was wondering if you went on changing the fwd board to asf? And if the asf was a direct replacement, or you had to change the servo motor / pot wires as the fwd wires looks longer... (due to the orientation of the board and pot/servo motor placement)

Thanks in advance.

HERE is the bigsquidrc page. Most sites request you include link back to their site when sharing their content.

Awful color... I prefer the Mazda simply for the Soul Metallic Red color.

Might have to pick up a white body of this when it's out... agree that I don't care for the yellow.

I'm still trying to figure out my FWD and the tire / balance situation as well... if anyone is driving them and has found a consistent setup, input would be appreciated.

Beautiful orange? All in the eyes of the beholder I guess. It looks about as awful as the yellow to me.

You're supposed to like orange, it's your National color.

SHhhhhhhhhh.... nobody is supposed to know I might be changing my racing colors soon... Orange nose, blue tail on a white body. Easy to see, easy to paint, and I have always loved Jilles' paint.

I love the green/blue, but its not easy to paint. I need practice.

Hmm... yellow or orange at least a new body... another plus would be that they would be quite easy to spot if you intend to race them... a 98mm body? Was hoping it would be 90mm... but i believe that the fwd has a 94mm minimum setting? (can anybody confirm this?)

I believe that the chassis can do 90, 94, and 98mm. Looks like all avalable FWD bodies are 98mm.
