You can't beat the ENZO MR2 MM

You can't beat the Enzo MR02 MM design!!

The new MR02 RM cars sucks compared to the Enzo MR02 MM.
You can get them to handle better but why??

Now with the new GPM alloy mid motor mount the Enoz is looking
more and more like a mini Associated 10L. Even handles like one too..

After buying the G'Zox and the Takata RM and now converting them into the Enzo MM there is no comparison in handling...

Does anyone feel the same way??

I hope that Kyosho will be comming out with other bodies to fit the Enzo wheel size.

Peace

I have always loved the handling of the MM configuration. From what I had read, and experienced while driving others RM configs, was that they handled more like MR01's which I was trying to get away from.

Personally, I am in agreement, the MM is the only way to go for me.

I would have to agree with you too. I recently converted my RM NSX to the MM Diablo. Although it's not the Enzo, the MM configuration that my car runs on now outshines my previous car.

Okay, you three are saying how good the MM is compared to the RM. Can you tell me why is better?

Did you guys compare the two mount with exact equipment?

Buy yourself a MM "H plate" and then an "MM Motor mount" and you're done. Put the motor into the MM motor mount and just move the rear axle/spacers/whatever to the new MM mount and you are done

I bought an RM for stock racing and after racing it for a while and having all kinds of issues getting it to handle as well as my MM, I'm thinking of doing the same and converting it to MM as well and just buying a new Diablo body for it.

What makes your MM handle better then the RM?

Hi all, I happen to disagree with the mm being better than the rm. I spent a bit of time testing getting ready for the mini z cup that was this past weekend.

It really can't be compared to 10L or 12L as they race on high traction ozite with rear tires triple the width of the front and much longer wheelbase and they would never put the motor 3 inches from there front end.

Mini-Z is a different beast.

if anyone has tested there mm with rubber tires then tried foam tires you would notice the car would be way faster, more corner speed better rip all around better traction. this means your mm just spinning your rubber tires. Doesn't mean it handles bad just not putting all the power to the ground and driving a setup that has lots of tire slip. If you run an RM setup you have more static traction to work with and put the power to the ground.
My Take on it is your not going fast if your spinning your tires.

if your racing stock you should work on tire set up more as the cars lack horse power to even make a difference.

i have to agree with you pro- z racing. that was the first & only thing i did when i got my enzo & what a difference! i find that my old tamtech tires fit & work nice with alittle shaving off the sides, also tamiya's green tires work good too. i've been racing cars for years now & shudder at the thought of running rubber on my cars from my enzo to my RC 500.

MM when compared to the RM provides better stability. This could be due to how the motor is placed. Hence there are lesser spinouts.

Of course there's the tyre spin that Pro-z Racing mentioned but I believe that may only be the case if you're using pretty hot motors.

MM also offers better cornering. The car bites into corners. Very responsive.

My 2 cents worth.

I run my enzo at the Cp mini raceway and If I put foams on it, well, I would be driving like I was on ice. Harder tires in back and soft front is the way to setup on that track. I have no tire spinning (I can hear the diff spinn a little during takeoffs) and really like the way it handles. I considered changing it to a RM for the cup but after getting it to handle correctly, I kept the MM. I am glad I did. It is a personal preference on what one it better and none of us drive the same way, some like more push and some don't like any at all. Saying what is "BEST" is only saying what is best for the person typing. I like the way it turns, runs in the straignts, how I can power out of the turns and the overall feel. I do not like running my MR01 anymore due to it (except my CLK with 2x6, S03 and F1 rear wheels ) But that is just for speed, dosn't come close to the handeling of my enzo.

I like my 2 RM's better - but that could just be because of my track though. A friend brought over his MM and was having too many spin outs no matter what setup he tried on it. I think it comes down to track, setup, and preference.
