Well, now it's mine! LOL!
I plan on rebuilding it to match my Miss America Micro-T. So far, I've ordered a clear skeleton chassis set, allloy five star wheels which match perfectly the ones on my Micro, and an alloy rear gear box set in blue. I plan on removing the blue color on the wheels as my Micro-T's got chromed ones. I've heard Easy Off oven cleaner is best for removing the anodized finish? Question is, will it tarnish the aluminum finish, and how would I polish it back up?
Second question, is the skeleton chassis kit easy to do on the Monster? So far, I've done it on AWD, MR01, MR15, MR02, and the Lite. Monster any easier?

nice mzm!i recently installed the skeleton chassis on my overland, i know theyre abit different but you have to make sure the servo and pot wires go in right- theres a slot and i found it tricky to get them in there. i ended up filling the slot bigger. also the power switch and power wires are abit fidly, but after a few minutes they go together ok.

microracer's is out of the parts I ordered and I didn't have cash to send theme so I'm out of luck on those parts. I think I just might go all Kyosho on this one as Kyosho parts seem to be easier to find than GPM's alloy. Plus on the truck, the alloy makes it heavy. I usually do alloy on the cars, but the alloy is smaller and seem's lighter. I think on the truck the parts are bigger and heavier. I could be wrong, but I still think going all Kyosho would be better. All clear chassis with chrome bit's, blue screws, and gun-metal alloy.

I had the same problem trying to order front/rear gear casings for mine.
I ordered from hong kong in the end and they only had the front one in stock(rear is on order too) and they are 4x the price of the overland ones

Spot the difference... I like a challenge!
I wanted a blue servo casing, but they only had silver... Where did you get that from?
