first a moment of silence for the 1st dc gtg without byebye and family since i joined the dc crew.. ....ok .now on to the recap. the first area is test and tune. we had a great evening of chatter as we shared our thoughts on how to tackle the GERMANTOWNHILL. not as easy as it looked. ol/mr01/mm02/mm1.5/monsters all tried to ease up and then assault GH. it was my first attempt at driving on contour or incline and down is a challenge. the brakes on these rc cars is critical. its easy to leave the track if you aint easy on the pedal. next we ran a couple of mini heats for what i call 1 to 2 tears. thats how long i think they lasted by counting how long you dont blink. the last was the battle of detroit iron maidens(gm=caddy vs daimler chrysler=300) what a battle as the two cars were door to door on several occasions. no one looked at the results just raced liked the pay checks were the trophies and not a slip from the "core" system that adorns the track.. fun and conversation and a great racing partner who says he is new to driving but rarely misses a turn....thats a rap to the dc gtg..thanks ad see you on the hill chuckyluv!!
