Clockwise is the official direction but I do laps both ways to mix it up a little. Making an interesting track in a small space is a fun challenge and a bit of a puzzle. Lots of trial and error to see what works and doesn't. It's fun to see the creations others have come up with

I use the track mate lap counter and transponders, and the software is FlipSide racing. Works great! Never had issues with this system.

Gotta rebuild mine if I get my 2nd MA up and running. Blow some dust off my cars and all that.

Great layout for limited spaces. You can also use the one piece Quick 45
sections to make a track that flows more similar to pro road courses.

It's not so bad actually looking to tune a bit more on power steering into my current #1 car (the brushless).

With a 70T i had done a 4.22 CW and with my sons car which isnt tuned that well yet and a KT18 transmitter did a 4.38 CW.

cool idea i'd be interested except what I have pictured is all I have room for at the moment and all I have is one mini-96 set. The basis for HFAY requires some flexibility in layout tile# and floor space...

Here is my first layout for the track. I need to get some blank tiles so I can make use of the rest of the track pieces. It seems like a pretty decent size for my Atomic AMZ. The true test will be when several of us are running on this layout at the same time.

Well my thought was we could just set up like yours lets say and see what times were produced. then as it gets warmer perhaps move outside and set up a little larger. Didn't intent to follow hafay exactly just give an opertunity for us with 30cm tracks at home to compare times on different layouts just to see if we are doing well or not.I have a mini 96 and expansion right now and have ordered a 45 and some blank tiles but dont know if i have room inside for all that! Just thought it would be something fun for us guys that dont have roomfor the bigger tracks.
