Much More have released a new Mini-Z tire truer for preparing your tires to match track conditions and setup. The motor that drives the device is powered by a separate power supply or 5 ~ 8V battery. The truer comes supplied with the DC motor, sandpaper and rubber belt

I saw that but it looks like the sander is "free form" which doesn't really make it useful. A truer should indicate that when you are done with the tires they are "true".

Looks like it might not quite be free form, it might be usable in the same way as a Hudy -- but it does look a lot simpler due to no spinning drum. To an extent it's less messy so it might be worth a look.

I see that slot down there now. Not completely free-form. The beauty of the Hudy though is the two depth screws. I true the one down to size, set the stop screw (Left side screw). Then run through the second tire allowing the stop screw to determine final cut depth.
With the Much More truer, you'd have to do each side individually.
