Season 23 is available now. Also can you send me Gary SR lap count so I can get it fixed. I have the times processed, just need to fix that one.

This was a fun lay out. My car in mod was way to fast for me to stay consistent. I think the car being so fast is what makes running mod so much fun for me. I wish we could run mod every week!!! I run the PN 32T motor. I usually run more consistent in mod. I think that I got behind early and trying to make it up made me run even worst. But it was still fun. I have not looked to see if Ray posted the videos of the races yet.

Yeah I feel ya Mike. I like to see the cars go really fast but that doesn't always equate to more laps...faster...but not always more.
I think I'm going to figure out how to quickly switch from my 599 to my lexan body for open class. I think that's the only way I can take advantage of the power and speed increase.

Mike what body are you running on your mod car? I'm running the Audi R8 on mine.
I had a run that was 129 laps on the BTE Track (fast lap was 4.25 second), not super clean but my car was plenty fast. It wasn't an official race and on race night I let Nino borrow my car to run, so his time are what is posted.

I am running the 599XX. It is very forgiving on the side rails.

I run the same body on both cars. Really the exact same body. LOL. I switch it from car to car. I think the guys all make fun of me behind my back because it looks so bad!
I think that I had one 4.2 lap but really don't remember. I know I had plenty of 4.3 laps. Bill came up to me after the race and told me.

I haven't tried the 599 body, I'm running the same old Mclaren F1 LM body on my racer. Still my favorite body.

i'm going to try the 599 for S23. I've run the R8 for a long time now and just looking to switch it up this season and it's the same fit as the R8 to no setup changes, yet. it will be an interesting start for the year; R8 for stock and MOD, 599 for HFAY, CLK for 94mm, F40 for 90mm. Can't wait to get S23 started this weekend!

We'll have to check the race data, I'm curious as well.

You'll notice a difference in the balance and rotation. The R8 is a very balanced and light weight body compared to the 599. The 599 is a bit more robust and stiffer than the R8. I love practicing with the R8 but ultimately the 599xx is the best for me.

Nino and I had the same fast lap for our group. 4.41 with our 70T cars.
In the end for me the fast lap is meaningless because you can have the fastest lap but still get beat by 10 laps if you can't be consistent.
this the the order of importance to me.
1. Fast and consistent. Highest lap count
2. Slightly Slower but Consistent, lower lap count, but still good.
3. Consistent, descent lap count.
4. Fast but not consistent, Usually enough mistakes to finish in the bottom.
