Does anyone know a good source for custom cables? I'm looking to have some connector cables made for Sports/Sports 2/FWD cars in which the ICS port cannot be used. I would like the female end to terminate to ring terminals with about 1.5"-2" cable length. I like the very narrow rings PN has on their brushed motor leads. I would need these all pre-assembled so that they can be packaged to distribute with transponders. I-Lap for example used to use micro JST 2 pin connectors for a setup like this. I simply don't have the time or patience to make these myself anymore and you can find any number of pre-wired connectors on ebay dirt cheap but they don't terminate to anything and the ring terminals are all crimp style and I no longer have the appropriate crimping tools or terminals.
I run a club in a hobby shop and customers are buying RTR leaving the transponder connections to DIY jobs which create wild variation in quality/type which I then have then expend time diagnosing when they don't work. Looking to make my job a bit easier in this regard and being able to hand out a cable kit is much easier and ultimately far better use of my time thus more cost effective.
JR plugs tend to be too large. The micro 2 pin plugs I-Lap used were a challenge being so tiny. XT30 are too big and micro deans are well, relegated to the past, i'm not sure anyone uses those anymore.
