The steering works fine left to right and is very reponsive, but when it centers, it seems to twitch SLOWLY and SLIGHTLY just a bit in addition to the normal small twitches, so that it doesn't run straight as it is correcting slower than usual. I did take the whole steering assembly apart and put it back together to make sure no gear teeth were missing and that everything fits together smoothly and that has seemed to help.
In addition, it does have a red plastic toe in steering rod in place (I don't have the stock one.) On my Enzo, a GPM alloy steering rod seemed to destroy to servo gears (which I replaced back to the stock steering rod along with a new set of delrin servo gears and it worked fine -- maybe it had poor tolerances). In any event, I'm thinking of doing the same for the F1. But I was wondering if anyone has seen this before or has any ideas on how to fix it short or replacing the whole steering mechanism.
