Question worth it

My only Mini-Z is an Overland. I saw these MR-02 Enzos and am intrigued. Do you need lots of smooth open space to run these? Are they worth getting into? I mean, they look AWESOME! I want one badly!!

All Mini-Z's are worth it. The only question is do you really want it? Your OL is fit to play with on your lawn, bed and basically anywhere you could go...

The MR02 on the other hand doesn't. Its a bit picky on the surfaces your gonna run on. The ride height is low and the gears are exposed so Off road is a NO NO. You could only use its full potential on a race track or on a really really large space. You could play it at home but you might get bored with it unless you have a large house

Hope this helps

I would agree that they are picky about the surface they run on. However a double-car garage, family room patio or basement can hold a big enough track for loads of racing fun.

I use 36 2x2' foam mats used for covering workout areas to build temporary tracks in my garage and back patio. These mats make it possible to run on less than perfect surfaces. You will need softer than stock tires for good traction.

It is possible to lay out a pretty nice road course using 2 & 3 foot lanes. Or I can make it into an oval track with 4 foot lanes 18 feet long.

If you have an area 15 by 20 you have enough room for some great fun.

Our Local Z track uses alphalt paper. Its kinda sticky and kinda rough, like real asphalt but good for z's. Before, i ran a Evo 6 on it with everything stock and the evo even had a little understeer with its narrow tires
