Today I was fooling around and driving my Z on asphalts etc etc.
My ready-kit came with 3 extra pinion gears so I was putting them on and off.
6T was on originally and ran great with it.
There are 7,8,9T pinion gears (crappy plastic ones).
I tried to put on other 3 pinion gears but it wouldn't turn the wheels.
I found out that those extra 3 pinion gears do not fit with my diff gear oddly.
I am not sure why Kyosho ready-kit included 3 extra pinion gears that don't fit.
It seems like those pinion gears are bit too big and pushing out the diff gear against it.
Anyways, I was fooling around with Z and all of sudden, Z got slower and made grinding noise.
I turned it off and looked for the problem and bam! I see one of the teeth on the pinion gear is missing!
I guess it's made out of plastic and all but after just 3days of running it is gone.
Talk about stock component quality!
Now my questions coming.
I want to get a machine cut alloy type pinion gear and diff gear.
Is there like universal pinion and diff gear products?
I mean I find that with more teeth on the pinion gear, the size gets bigger and I have no space on my motor mount to make room for the bigger pinion for my diff gear. (Do I sound right? I am trying to describe what I've seen so if I am wrong please correct me.)
I looked at some MR02 products but I don't see such things for MR015.
Can I just use MR02 motor mount/pinion gear/diff gears for my MR015?
Plz recommend some good products to mod my Z~
also supplied with the set is 3 different sets of motor spacers to allow you to use the 3 different pinions.

Found very useful diagrams and instructions on the manual, thanks to friends above.
Mini-Z is quite more sophisticately(?) designed/engineered than I anticipated.
I am enjoying it too much.
You can get alloy pinions from Atomic as a set or singly. I had them but returned tham after I learned they were not necessary. Your situation may be different though.
