I bought the TX 2nd hand and have discovered that the Power alram doesn't work.
I have been through all the options on the menu dble checking the settings.
I have tried to assign a custom tone to the power alram and again it still doesn't let you know you have left the TX switched on. I have tried setting it to 1,2,3,4 & 5 mins still no alarm.
The speaker is working as it sounds the tone when you switch it on and the tone sounds when you roates the menu dial or press enter to select.
Have I missed a setting or does it sound like the TX has developed a fault.
The only other thing I will say is that this maybe an older EX-10 Helios as a friend has one also and the LCD is titnted Blue, mine is just the usual greeny colour.
ScoobyPete- do you hear any sounds from the transmitter? Try the beeper pitch and see if you can hear the audible tone difference. If you do, then you have a setting that is not correct. I haven't heard or seen any with this type of problem since the release of the Helios (8 years ago).
