Arrow Tires for my AWD MA-015

Hey all,

I just bought an MA-015 chassis. I also got the 2008 SUBARU STI WRC Auto Scale Body to go with it. I thought that all of the tires on that AWD ASB would be the same width, just like a real STI. I was wrong. It turns out the rear tires are thicker than the front.

With that in mind I have three questions for you people.

1. What tires can I use on my Mini-Z? When I look for MA-010/MA-015 tires I only find drift tires. I'm looking for racing tires for my RCP track and grippy tires for my wood floor or a basketball court. Suggestions?

2. Can I have all of the rims be the same size? Or do Mini-Z's always have small tires in front and fat tires in the back? (I'd like to try fat tires for all 4 wheels.)

3. How can I tell the size of my tires? I.E. 8.5mm vs 11mm

try 20 kyosho radial on the rear, and 30 radial on the front.

yes you can but then your offset has to change as well. you can try any tire width, tire thickness as long as it fits under your body.

usually that's the way it is. wide tire in the back, narrow tire in the front.

wide=11mm
narrow=8.5mm

imo, wide wide combo will make your car roll on rcp. it just gives you too much traction

I just installed the tires/rims that came with the Subaru body.The part of the axel that the rims screw onto is very short and it keeps the rims too close the to chassis. It causes the rims to slightly rub against the chassis/suspension.I was thinking of sanding the rims down a bit to fix this.

Do you find this is this a common issue?

Not a common issue but sanding will help.

The awd have good grip on RCP and smooth concrete. For outside you can try asc tires which are usually a hard tire. Harder tread tires will work well outside.

Front grip on RCP is better for awd so you can run a less stick tire.
