Don't use them. They're not any tire that comes in kyosho packaging. I think there might be silicone or an unknown substance in the compound which glazes the tire over like silicone. They feel softer than a 40, but 40 has more traction.

We have banned them on our track due to fear of contamination of the surface.

When I was trying our rental fleet out, a racer said they came with 30s, so I put some 20s on the rear and started driving. As I was driving front traction just kept decreasing. I cleaned them and it came back up. Then consistently kept dropping. I lost about .5s pace in a 5 minute run. I swapped to some used 30 slicks in the front, and was over a second faster the next run, and had my fast lap around 4:30 in to the qualifier.

There is definitely something funny going on with that tire, I also put on a 40, and the car was consistent and pace kept improving through the run with no glaze. I have a feeling that these are a made in China tire first for the RWD or ASC and not the made in Japan tire in the detail package.

What they put on auto scales and ready sets is never consistent either. I just keep the tires on dummy chassis for displayed bodies. Let me know if anyone has left over dummy chassis . I’ve got plenty of custom painted cars I can display.
