Limited Edition Autoscale Bodies

I had started another thread about rare bodies but I thought I might start one about limited edition bodies in an effort to distinguish "rare" against "limited edition" here's a list of bodies I am aware of that are limited edition releases from Kyosho and their available numbers. To qualify for this list, it must be confirmed to be a limited release and have some kind of unique identifier whether it be uniquely numbered, special finish, special case, or distinctly labeled. There are some custom painted limited editions but I'm gonna leave that in the rare category.
I'll try to update with pics when I can. And as always if you know of any more, please feel free to reply and share any knowledge you have.

I have one without numbers that is why I was confused. So does yours have a numbered plaque or is it printed on the case base.

its the white lettering on the base that makes it different

It's probably like the Skyline R32 in gunmetal. There was a limited edition release that had a printed case stand. Then there was a regular release on a standard case stand. Looks to be the same situation for the NSX. I've seen a few people hock the regular one as a limited edition so hopefully this will be beneficial information for people who collect, like myself.

Interesting find Arch, but not sure these constitute true limited edition bodies like the ones listed in the first post.

why not, kyosho has comissioned custom hand painted bodies in the past. this is no different. notice they are packaged in official kyohso packaging vs. left open. image quality isn't good enough to tell if they reused whitebody bags or not. kyosho does release commisioned custom painted bodies for events, specials, prizes

ahh, understood now, this is more 'rare' vs. 'limited edition'
