HEY!!! you want great torque for cheap

Man i just recently got a set of drac neos from a friend and man are they great.
the torque is boosted massivly, the only down side is that there is low speed control, pretty much great for crawlin. If your lookin for a racing motor this is not the greatest unless you find a fast armature to equal it out.

All in all for all you crawlers out there, if you want Great torque ask Drac and he'll hook you up.

any questions ask and ill answer them or maybe drac himself will help

ok here are the basic ups and down

pros.
- the torque is unbeleivable, it almosts doubls my pn speedy!
- easy instalation, any questions on that just ask
-very affordable!
- no fets needed
- they are way stronger and will last longer than any other magnet i know of on the market!

cons.
- the speed is decreased a litle to lot depending on your armature.
- low speed control is one of our main concerns but if you find the right armature its no problem.
- litle shorter run times

well ill addd more if i remember any

Ridealot, I think you said that you had the a-bb motor from the shop here. Well, I also remember you saying that the dcras brought down the top speed quite a bit. For my F1, do you think that if i put in a 9t-10t pinion, the top speed would return, only with excellent acceleration?

drac's neo's are not recommended for racing motors (by me). i don't know of any means to increase the top speed to the point of being competitive to other non turbo motors without increasing the chance of frying fets.

the use of drac neo's in more relevant to overland and monster applications where torque is more desirable than top speed.

hmm...because id like a really fast motor and not require a fet stack, unless i can learn how to stack fets myself...to pay someone $30 to solder is kinda ridiculous to me. So i would like that 35t motor from minizworkshop...as long as i practice very detailed soldering

drac-
i am thinking about building a new monster motor with your magnets (means i need to get more ) using atomic parts.... this would likely end up being a turbo motor. did you ever try using smaller peices of your magnets? i know you mentioned it somewhere... i'm looking to make the ultimate offroad motor

I was pondering putting the broken magnet pairs I have in a motor can, but I aint come up with a way to gaurantee they stay put yet... so I have not bothered to try it.... your welcome to try LOL...

I am also supose to be ordering some slot car magnets for some one, so I might sneek a few "samples" of other types of mini-z magnets in the same shipment so I dont have to ship it twice... I might try for a STRONG magnet incased in plastic... so the plastic is the shape size of the mini-z magnet, but the magnet is only one part of the plastic.. and or fits in a slit inside it... or something.. LOL then I could use a cheaper disk or cube magnet... and or 2 or.. hmm man ideas just popped into my head!!!!! LOL muhahaha... inventing time...

man my setup for my motor right now is a pn speedy with dra s and it is perfect, the a-bb armature was just so slow i needed a litle more speed and control and walla the pn speedy armature works great, perfect outdoor setup in my mind,

give it a try, it worked for me
