Nate! I can't answer this one. It's a wonderful question that I wish I had thought of weeks ago.

Though I am registered my son is not, will we be able to register at the door Friday evening?
Thanks, Pedro
And to start getting an idea of participation: I plan to run ASC, Pan Mod and F1. I am also bringing an AWD. My son Zak (age 12) will run ASC.

Arch, The way I understand it registering is just buying a ticket to get in the door. There is no additional charges for racing.
Registering is done by buying a mambership for NekoCon11, which can be done at Nekocon's official website.
http://www.nekocon.com/memberships.php
Pedro, I plan on running all three classes aswell. Im bringing an AWD that Im hoping to run against yours in the ASC class If I can get the steering to start acting right (not using very good electronics ) Ill run my MRCG in pan. Ive got my mod MR02 Ill smack a pan shell on if I have too My F1s front end got destroyed in a recent crash. If I cant get it back together Ill steal the front end from my dads car. If I do get it together, I wont touch his car and he will run all three classes too.

PN's contribution to the event arrived today. Again, an excellent selection of useable parts and accessories. This is shaping up to be a must attend event.
Again a shout out to PN and REFLEX for their generous contributions. Thanks Guy's

After some creative scheduling arrangements it looks like I should be able to make this race.. Just the other day I was able to get a ride down to Nekocon with another local racer. So I should be there for racing on Sat and Sun.. I should be racing in the stock and Modified 2wd classes.. Looking forward to meeting some new racers and seeing some people that I've met on this website again..

I think he's alread committed to some other event, so I'd have to say no. I don't think any of the DOW crew will be spinning it down there other than myself... might be good for me to get away from these guys for a change!

To clarify, the RACE EVENT itself is free, the entry into the convention will be a one time $45 dollars at the door for the entire weekend unless you have previously pre-payed for the entry fee (pre-registered get $10 dollars off door price).
I'd like to also thank PN and Reflex racing for their contributions!

That is correct. No separate fee for the race. It is actually part of the convention. Once you have paid your way into the convention there are no more fees. See you there. Thanks for choosing the event.

Sorry guys, I've had a crazy busy week.
When you get to the convention, there will be a registration desk and your information will be in the computer system. Bring your paypal receipt just in case, but you should be good to go.
Unfortunately the deadline for pre-registration has passed. You can register at door for the weekend or for the day. At door rates are higher than pre-reg at $45 for the weekend, $30, $35, $25 for Friday Saturday Sunday. Register early next year
I'm very excited about the event, and I think you're all going to have a great time. See you soon!

Here is the official frequency list for the event. Only the numbers posted in this list will be allowed. A frequency board with pins will be in use at all times that cars are running. Please bring a clothes pin with you with your name written on it. Whenever you pick up a frequency pin you be required to place your ID pin on the board. That way if the Frequency pin doesn't come back we know where to look. This is a fairly long list and some of the numbers are out of sequence.
Any and all forms of ASF, Spectrum or FASST system.

The next bit of information for the event is logistical. Our fearless leader for the event has managed to procure tables for our use throughout the weekend. The bad news is theres an intergalactic shortage of personal docking devices. Chairs. you will need your own personal sitable. It would probably also be wise to have it marked for identification should it decide to involve itself in some of the other entertainment that will going on around us. Not that it is a concern but if it happens good luck saying the person wearing the costume took it.
A few posts back I mentioned the possibility of another prize source for the race. It has come through. So to all of you fan's of 1/1 scale circle burning I am proud to announce the participation of Joe Gibb's Racing. Team owner for Kyle, Denny, Joey, Tony and likely a couple others. There should be some shirts and hats and I'm not sure what else. The hits just keep on coming and in this case it's a good thing.
At lunch today we got a couple of shots of one of the Pan car entries pre paint application. Just a taste of things to come. Eat your heart out Yasuji.
The actual race schedule(guideline) will be posted tomorrow. I promise. Stay tuned.
