I noticed that you live in Ashburn, Va. I have some work in Ashburn so the chances are I will be there in the next month or 2. We should see if we can set up a race for when I'm in town..
Let me know if you are interested.

Definately. I'd be happy to set up a race. I have my track in my unfinished basement with plenty of bench space and a GiroZ if you want to get serious. I can round up one or two virginians maybe the MD crew would like to join. Let me know when you'll be in town.

Hey simpleskin...
Why haven't we seen you at any of the DCGTG's? You aren't very far and it's a great group to race with. Arch has plenty of space and a Core timing system.
How much space do you have...maybe we could come down there sometime

Has anyone else noticed that the part number and description are for a D2 Mercedes and not the Original Teile?
The pic is the Teile body but if you google the part number listed you'll find the D2. I would love to be wrong on this one so if anyone wants to do more digging, feel free.

if you read through the auction, he clearly states that he had it mis lableled originally and confirmed that is was the Original Teile...
Anyone bidding should verify this as well....Just to be certain.

Sounds good. Just looking through the schedule now and it looks like our Ashburn work is scheduled for install in September. I'll be sure to contact you when I have some firm dates.
I'll actually be in Laurel, Maryland tomorrow night. I don't know how far that is from you....
Spoon, is right you should try and get to one of the DC races. I met up with them on one of my other trips and had a great time racing with them. they have a great group of guys and some really fast racers. Spoon wasn't able to make it when I was there, and he is one of the fastest racers out there...

I know, Sang Kang and I race every friday night at my place. We always talk about when we are going to race with Arch and crew. I think alot of it had to do with being intimidated by how long you guys have been doing this since we are relative newbies (just over a year of mini-z) However I think we are both ready to see what everybody else is doing and compete at the point where we won't be embarassed

You guys should really come out. We race as hard as we can but it's more about having fun. Soulstice and jleecov have just joined the crew and are starting to get faster and more comfortable on the track so there are all kinds of skill levels.
It's not my house but Arch always welcomes new drivers so whenever you're ready...

never worry about being embarassed i've been hosting the club four a couple years now and i am consistently being surpassed by new drivers that progress very quickly once they get the chance to race faster drivers. i actually beat a tie breaker for 3rd place in our dc points series and it's my track if anyone should be embarassed, it's me we also have a couple new drivers to join our group recently so i think you would fit in very well.
you can contact the other va guys and if possible arrange a car pool or something. ashburn is probably 80 minutes from my place.
brian, you can't miss ahsburn, it's close to kings dominion which every virginian has been to atleast once.
