I just finished watching SPEED. Those big truck things seem to be pretty good for flat land, but when going over dunes they get stuck.

i just realized i get the speed channel! saw stage 4 today. i would love for kyosho to release the bmw turck! #205, that finished 5th was sweet. there were a couple of others that i didn't get a good enough look at to tell what they were. too much time spent on the cylce class and not enough time in the car class. i wanted to see some of the big truck on the course. i'll be watching from now unitl the end!

bikes vs....
i hate washington cable; we dont even get speed on digital cable. virginia gets EVERYTHING. someone tape it for me. i miss my homestate.
btw, i'm a rider so i find the bikes much more interesting. i think it's a bit easier to drive a car across sand than pilot a fully-laden dual-cylinder ktm that stands about as tall at the rider and weighs 3times as much.

i agree in that riders experience a completelty higher level of difficulty, but i've never been into bikes, so naturally i like to watch the car class which is usually the las 15 min.s of the nightly coverage. i prefer the truck to the odd cars/trucks. i am curious to see the big rigs but i haven't seen a coverage on them. comcast in virginia has a good selection of channels, but they 'f' you with the high cost. i have digital cable, internet and the cost is outrageous. i would never go back to the bandwidth impaired days of the modem though.
anyway, i watch every night - it's only 30 min.s though.

Only 30 minutes a night is not nearly enough. I say 15 for Bikes, 30 for cars, and 15 for trucks. Now that would be cool. That BMW is pretty cool. Tobad it's suspionsion broke. They did repair it though 6 hours later.

I agree, should be at least an hour. I'd watch an hour of just Trucks, I love the Trucks!!!! They're going to do a "review" at the end but it's only an hour, they should do a marathon of the entire event back to back instead!
