2:34 am - I just got home from an all night of racing at Micro Zone with some of my friends. It was fun. Yeah, Mondo, long time. Hope all is well. It is an AMT Ertl kit. I made the body mounts out of brass and the wheels and tires are custom.
Scouts are awesome bodies. I got another one coming up - The bronco, but this one will be on a Monster.
Glad you guys like it.
BTW, Mondo, my next project: ABC DTM SP w/ 14 - 16 cells and a brushless. Predicted speed: 70+ mph.

It's from a toy called Max Shocks or Xtreme rock crawler. It's one or the other. I threw away the box already. I do know that they are nearly identical if not that.
The springs are a little stiff. I might heat it up (till it glows) to soften up the springs.
It did increase the ride height though.

While running Zs with NML in Viva Las Vegas, I snapped a few photos of his Scout for everyone to look at and admire. NML, as usual, it was very nice running Zs with you. Come back soon.
Here are a few of NML's chassis with his V3 motors too.
All that Z running, Z working, and Z time in Las Vegas also caused some need Zzzzzs. Friday was 7PM-5AM, Saturday was 3:30PM-1:00AM (plus a little more BS time).

The tyres look like Lego tyres and the rims look custome. The body looks good and seems to be a perfect fit fot the OL chassis.

The wheels are from the FD3S autsocale. Dremeled one, then CA glued it in front of the other to give it the deep dish effect.
The tires are from a 4wd battery operated truck that I got from ROSS.... a long time ago.
