for your mr-03 h plates, which is the equivalent to a #3 PN or kyosho stock? is there a way to get a sheet of a single one vs. the variety set? looking for a spec class stock h plate replacement and these are both affordable and could be sold in bunches vs. individually.
btw, the CTS is on my christmas list
I don't know really, they behave differently compared to ABS or CF. The cellular structure of the material gives them some kind of self dampering which is a plus (rear axle does not shake even with no damper mounted).
About hardness I would say they are all in the medium range, the 1, 2 or 3 ribs only changes the dampering and torsion slightly.
I am in fact waiting for some feedback and of course will offer them by single model sheets after they have been sorted.
have you made front body mounts? how well will it hold up?
and side body mounts? wondering how it would adhere to the plastic bodies if regular glue is used... and how the material would react with plastic...
Front body mounts are included with all MZ bodies.
They are unbreakable. I tried to snap one and I hurt my fingers. Then I tried with two pliers and I could'nt.
The material is porous. The glue (super glue is what I tried) will infiltrate in it and the bound is even better than ABS with ABS. There is no reaction with plastic (shapeways marerial with ABS if this is what you mean)..
Hi Fovea3D I know this thread is for printed bodies but just wondering if you are able to print spider gears for the original AWD gear diff in a stronger plastic then the original. I like the gear diff but the spider gear break if you apply any power over stock.

Hi Philip sorry for the delay, I have been busy.
No this won't work, the spider gears are just to small to be printable with the current printers.
The material is grainy and the resolution too low to solve details as small as pinion teeth.
But certainly in the future with improved hardware this will be doable.

No problem, thanks for the response.
