Slow Steering

Was racing with my buds tonight and was getting very frustrated with my car, just wouldn't turn to save itself, and also was wandering a lot. I think I know at least part of the problem with my car, but there is one thing I can't figure out. I let my buds try driving my car and they commented that the steering was slow, not that it understeers, (which it does as well.) just that it's slow to react. So, we turned our cars over and were both turning our wheels back and forth watching them at the same time, and my buddies wheels were definately flipping back and forth much quicker than mine. I tried my other MR01, (all our cars are MR01's) and it's the same way. Any ideas why? Anything I can do to make it better?

Nope, tried two different Tx's, two different sets of batts, crystals, etc. It may be just the bit of play in the sloppy steering, I've got a new toe-in tie rod to try tonight.
