guys, i am contemplating switching to an awd for season 3. is anyone else possibly doing the same?
this means i have to get another awd chassis kit. i was thinking about running the mr-02 rm skyline gt-r jgtc for this. i want to try the extended wheelbase cars, forgot to even check if that was one of them?

You won't need the extension kit for the 94mm skyline JGTC.
IMO I'd say upgrade either the FETs on your current HFAY car or get a new chassis and drop just bearings in it and give it a run. I'm working on an MM 3010 car right now thats running a custom painted Murc. The FETs are slightly more punchy but carry the car through the corners very well.
I can see you having to relearn how to drive since the chassis will react totally different to upgrades.

The November individual results are up...The total points standings haven't been adjusted yet.

There must have been some strange weather in PA I was only one lap behind most of those guys (for race 10).

damn, now i have to do good or atleast finish both dec races to stay in 20th or above place and the season started so well for me....
i think it's rather good that all of us are in the top 20
the only other club to have all thier members above 20th palce is ann arbor. all 6 of them are 15th place and above looks like we have a goal for season 3

To think...the carrot on the end of my stick is the administrator of the greatest Mini-Z portal on the inter-web. Great service, great website and certainly a nice guy...but racing is racing and I am out to topple AA_Mini-Z.
Racing is fun

I am seriously thinking about it. I just swapped out the Nelly from the super fast AWD, went back to the 3010's. I'll upgrade the MR02 to 3010's and do a comparison run.

Heh, The Ringer was impressive with that thing, wasn't he? I think I'll be sticking with my MR-02, though after driving The Ringer's car recently the AWD is running a close second. Now that he has it at 98mm (enzo body) it doesn't seem to roll at all, just riding on rails...I'm interested to see how it will run on the large track up in PA.

Between the Ringer showing us how it's done in DC and Cristian Tabush winning races with it and all of the good things I hear about the SAS and the fact that it can be 98mm...I figure it's worth considering. There's almost nothing left on mine that can break. I might as well race it.
I am really curious to see how everyone handles the PA race.
