HMSR Series Races
1/22/05 - Great races guys. Somehow with even more people, the place seemed less cramped than the last race. I would chalk that up to better organization. Thanks for putting on a great event guys! My only complaint is that I beat Sandro in superstock, thought the points don't reflect it... Any time I can take credit for beating up on an old man, I like to take advantage of it!
Now if I can actually get 2 cars running so I don't have my charging schedule all boffed up, then I think I'll be ok! And F1 sucks. Without tires that is...

Why is this forum so dead lately? Is everyone busy with their Z's or the rest of their life?
Anyways, I'm seriously considering not running the F1 class. Running 3 classes is getting pretty hectic, especially with the possibility of bump-ups. I still need to get tires, and bearings and springs and a new diff shaft (mine is bent).

BOOO! YOU GUYS SUCK!
I spent last night scraping and sanding my old MP4/16 so now I have a matte black "testing" body. I also did a little cutting around the sidepods and barge boards to lose the old Mclaren look.
Practice this weekend?

Hey Joe!
Sup bro?
Howdy Danny and Kurt.
I followed Pats link here and saw Joe was here. Thought Id say hi! We used to race together and we allways figured out how to BBQ some sort of food that was full of nitrates.
Id really like to try the minis. I think its a great idea for just about any level of racer. Or noobie. Or old guy.
Id like to race another class. Id like to give Minis a shot if I can get some Saturdays off from work. Joe, can I take your car for a few laps when I can make it out?

No prob. I should have all the bootyness sorted out of my prototype. Bosley's also got 2 cars that drive very differently, but very effective. I'm also building Cristian up a chassis. Should be fun! All the old onroad guys back on the track again.

Yah Tabush. He probably won't be running for another couple of weeks or so. I think he'll make it to the final race of the series next month. We should have 2 MR02, 2 prototype, an F1 and an Overland rally car for you to play with...

There's still quite a bit of low hanging fruit right now. I'm currently among that group! I'm beginning to get my sea legs back after a 2 year hiatus. That and trying to setup/dev a new chassis kinda makes me ubersuck right now...

I was wondering where you got the decals from. I just spent tonight cutting arcs into my MP4/16 to modernize it. Cut some Renault "gills" into it too. With the sanded matte black, it looks very "sharky". Still need to come up with a scheme for it before my Kimi MP4/19 gets here. He's my new fave. Any current F1 driver that gets kicked out of a strip club is tops on my list!

What class are they running the prototype chassis and modified bodies in? is it just in the open class or have they started a new class for them?
Last I had heard, in the stock and super stock it was production chassis and bodies only. Did this change?

No I made a prototype chassis because I hated the way the old MR01 drove. I'm working on ironing out the wrinkles. It was a lot better last week than the week before and I made some more improvements to it. Since driving a well set-up MR02, my target is a LOT higher now...
